Meet The Team

Eileen Morrow

Clinical Academic Orthotist

Eileen is a Clinical Academic Orthotist and NIHR Doctoral Clinical Academic Research Fellow, with a specialist interest in paediatric orthopaedics and research-driven care. She has over eight years of clinical experience across a wide range of areas including paediatric orthopaedics, gait analysis, neurological rehabilitation, diabetes, and complex polytrauma.

Eileen is currently undertaking a doctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford, looking into important outcomes for children’s elective lower limb orthopaedic surgery. She also leads funded research projects investigating treatments for idiopathic toe walking and the development of validated sham orthotic devices for clinical trials.

She holds an MSc in Health Research Methods and was previously awarded a prestigious NIHR/HEE Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship. Eileen has been an active contributor to national professional bodies, including serving as Chair of the Research Committee for the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO), and on the committee of the Council of Allied Health Professionals Research Oxfordshire.

She regularly lectures on clinical governance and research methods and peer-reviews for leading journals in the field, including Prosthetics and Orthotics International and Gait and Posture.
